Understanding our role as a Notary Public
As a Notary Public, our primary function is to serve as an impartial witness to the signing of documents and to verify the identity of the signers. It is essential to understand that we are not attorneys and, therefore, cannot provide legal advice, draft legal documents, or assist in determining which notary certificate or form to use. Choosing the correct certificate (e.g., Acknowledgment, Jurat) constitutes as legal advice, which we are not authorized to give.
Legal advice and your responsibilities
If you are unsure about the type of notary certificate your document requires, or if you need assistance with the content or legal implications of your documents, we strongly advise you to consult with a Colorado licensed attorney before scheduling an appointment with us. We cannot offer guidance on these matters. Please note: "I am not an attorney licensed to practice law in the state of Colorado, and I cannot give legal advice or accept fees for legal advice. I am not an immigration consultant, nor am I an expert on immigration matters. If you suspect fraud, you may contact the Colorado Attorney General's office or the Colorado Supreme Court."
Cancellation & No-Show Policy
To provide the best experience for all our clients, we kindly ask that you cancel any scheduled appointments at least 2 hours in advance to avoid a cancellation fee. This policy allows us to accommodate other clients and reduce unnecessary charges. Please note that a $35.00 cancellation or no-show fee will be applied if you cancel after the 2-hour window, if the signer is absent at the scheduled time, if the required documents are not prepared, or if the signer fails to provide valid, unexpired identification. Thank you for your understanding and cooperation in adhering to this policy.
